OHS Awareness Training

OHS Awareness Training is aimed at educating managers and employees to better understand their obligations under the OHS legislation and any relevant OHS regulations that apply to your industry and workforce.

It's our belief that this education and awareness is critical to creating a safe working environment, as it helps to foster a safety conscious culture within the workplace at all levels of employment. 

​

Our OHS Awareness Training sessions are delivered by experienced OHS Consultant, with practical experience as both a Workplace Physiotherapist and Lawyer, ensuring the training encompasses the practical and legal aspects of workplace health and safety. 

​

OHS Awareness Training sessions are available for either Management (i.e. Executives, HR Leaders, OHS Leaders) or Employees. We strongly recommend splitting the sessions between these two work groups, as the content is different.

  • OHS obligations of employees.

  • OHS obligations of employers. 

  • Promoting a safety conscious culture within your organisation.

  • Identify OHS hazards and how to manage them. 

  • Understanding the hierarchy of controls. 

  • Case law examples of what has been held to constitute failure to adhere to employer and employee OHS obligations.

Location for training?

​

All OHS Awareness training sessions are delivered onsite at your workplace. OHS Awareness training sessions are predominately theory based sessions. As such, a room that is comfortable for attendees to sit and has a projector screen is preferable.

Duration?

​

OHS Awareness training sessions require 1 - 1.5 hours for employee only sessions, and 2 - 3 hours for employer/manangement sessions.
