Workplace Manual Handling Training Bendigo
Our manual handling training sessions are practical, interactive and tailored to address the specific manual handling risks that your employees experience in their day-to-day work duties.

Delivered by a qualified and experienced Workplace Physiotherapist, each manual handling training sessions covers the following three components:

The first component is injury prevention principles. This teaches your employees how injuries develop and what physical signs to look out for in the body that may indicate an injury is about to occur. Understanding this is absolutely critical to injury prevention.

The second component is manual handling risk identification and assessment. The focus of this section of the training session is to teach your employees how to identify manual handling risks before they perform the manual task. Identifying manual handling risks before they try to perform the manual task ensures your employees have consciously thought about the task before performing it and allows for best practice manual handling techniques to be implemented.

The third component of the session is task specific manual handling technique training. During this part of the session, we will go through the specific manual tasks that your staff perform during their workplace duties, so that they can learn and understand the most efficient and safest way to perform the manual tasks that are relevant to them.
